I am not pregnant and I don't have any PF issues, can I still Hypolates?
Definitely yes. Hypolates X is exactly for that.
I started to teach pilates and integrating functional training, strengthening exercises, endurance series and many more things to make my workouts more efficient and rounded.
I wanted a strong core but also strong legs back and arms.
I wanted to be agile and flexible but also strong and resilient.
HypolatesX is my own vision of training, of moving and function optimally in the space.
I keep saying that working from the core if your hips work properly mostly all the time the shoulders can deliver too.
The two are the floor and ceiling of the core.
My routines always have this in mind.
I come from being weak.
My upper body was very weak because female dancers don't need that strength to do the job. Now things have changed and dancers are much stronger and well trained, they do extra things like pilates, fitness ,yoga and more. In my time it started but I was not so aware of the importance of getting the strength.
I was unable to push or pull my own body weight.
I started with a Crossfit workshop in 2007 (I became a teacher a couple of years later) when nobody new about it.
That was pure callisthenics. Sheer body weight exercises one after the other...I was absolutely hooked.
L-sits, squats, pistols, pushups, planks and many other variations to change your body not for aesthetics but for skills and dexterity.
My passion
I want to give to others this strength that I have achieved over the years in record time.
Aerobic or anaerobic training?
To me the combination of the two is key. Both are essential. Routines are the enemy. Having a variety of activities, intensities, and different ways of doing physical exercise is the way forward. Believe me I know, I have tried everything. Hypolates works aerobically and anaerobically, I can add weights, speed and intensity or keep things basic, very quiet and slow.
The combination is an Art.
Hypolates Method is unique and super versatile in terms of training. It challenges the body to constant adaptation; add intensity and endurance to the training and it can only lead to an amazing body transformation.
