the founder
Hypolates was developed by Laura Marin, autodidact and innovator, who began her career at the prestigious Victor Ullate Dance Company where she worked alongside fellow elite athletes dedicated to high-performance training.

Now one of London’s most in-demand trainers for celebrities and other HNWI, she has forged a career out of her passion for health and fitness.
She shared a stage with world-famous names in ballet, before spending many years mastering a number of different disciplines.
Laura’s sensitivity to how people like to learn, combined with a rigorous approach that challenges clients when necessary, has led to a proven track record of enhancing performance and delivering the desired results.
Laura was one of the UK’s first certified CrossFit trainers back in 2009, and an early adopter of kettlebell workouts (she was introduced to them by Stan Pike whose book, The Kettlebell Bible, helped to popularise their use) – the expertise she has gained in Pilates, Gyrotonic, powerlifting and dance means she has a wealth of techniques and approaches to solve any issue or meet any goal.

Hypolates is great for everybody, whether you are young and looking to build and preserve your body, or you are older and looking to reduce the impact of the changes your body is going through. The only time it is advised not to do Hyploates is when you are actively trying to get pregnant, or when you are pregnant. Also, if you suffer from high blood pressure, it would be advised that you seek management for that before commencing Hypolates.
All Hypolates sessions are currently one to one, group sessions are only upon request and workshops are coming soon, simply get in touch.
Whatever you prefer! Face to face sessions are great to build the relationship, but online sessions can be arranged anytime if it is more convenient for you.
Hypolates sessions are priced comparatively to other elite training options. Think of it as the best investment you can make for your body and your future. You will function better, feel stronger, and look younger. The returns are endless.

The program will be tailored to your personal starting point and goals, regardless of whether you’re super fit or just starting out. You will be challenged, but supported, throughout.
Hypolates can be done at home, with no equipment. You may just wish to use a mat or some towels to make floor work more comfortable.
As with any exercise, the more you do it, the more it helps. A standard program will see you practice 2-3 times per week but this can be dialed up or down according to your needs and ambitions.
With regular practice your progress will continue indefinitely, and your capability, strength and overall health will too.
It is very likely that you will lose weight whilst practicing Hypolates, but that is not the main objective of the exercise. Having said that, as you work, you will burn calories and your metabolic rate will increase, plus your awareness of your body will likely mean you make good dietary choices.
